“No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.” (John 1:18, NIV)
The life and words of Jesus are so much more to us than that of any other great teacher because Jesus comes to us from God. Jesus did not begin his journey here as a man on earth and go to heaven to seek God’s wisdom. No! Jesus began his journey in heaven with God, as God, and journeyed to earth to share with us his wisdom, love, mercy, grace and life.
When great men teach of wisdom and life they do so after having studied for years of things that are greater than themselves. But Jesus is different because what he shares is from who and what he is – and he is God.
That is why his wisdom, words and life have power to conquer death and lead us into eternal life. Would you my friend allow Jesus to share with you his heavenly wisdom and his eternal life?

To think about the fact that God…..I mean…GOD!….came down from heaven as a man and then to go through all that he did…..and he did it for ME!! This is almost more than my human mind can comprehend.

Dear Brenda,
It is incredible. While men were offering up their children to the fires of Molech and others false gods the True and the Living God offered up his One and Only Son that we might have fellowship with him.
It is thought provoking that man in his effort to have unity with the object of his worship would never ever think to call upon his god to offer the son of that god. Yet, that is exactly what the Heavenly Father did, he offered up His Son!
Who would have ever imagined such a gift?
