Why do you worry? Why are you so concerned? Yes, life is difficult. Yes, you have made many mistakes. And yes, you have sinned; you have fallen short of the glory of the Lord.
But that is why the Heavenly Father chose to send his Son. That is why God sent our Savior. He sent him because of two immutable things. First, our great need to be saved from our sin. And secondly, because of his great love for us who have sinned. No! You don’t have the strength to save yourself, but Jesus does!
Might we understand what kind of God it is that we worship? Might we hear the word of God saying, “The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17, NIV).

Keith, as I’ve expressed to you before, this is something I have struggled with most of my life….mainly because as a young Christian, I was never taught about the Grace of God! You have opened my eyes to so many of the wonders of God the Father and his great love for me…ME! I was one of those who always thought I had to be “good enough”…..I see now that I will never be good enough and it is because of this….Jesus came because He is GOOD ENOUGH!! He took my sins….He lived the sinless life….He was and is the perfect lamb, sacrificed once for all! Thank you Father, for loving me enough to send your Son…and thank you Lord Jesus, for dying for ME!!…..and thank you Keith, for reminding me that I AM GOING HOME!!

I was in the same boat as Brenda, as most Christians are. But, what really made a huge difference in my life was understanding that I do not have to wait to crossover to the other side to get to heaven. My relationship with Jesus gives me a little bit of heaven on earth almost everday. And experiencing that makes me anxious to go and be with my Savior, my Lord, my King and my Friend.

Dear Brenda and Steve,
You both are so right! I myself feel the same way. God so much loved us that he would give his one and only Son. What a thought. Priceless and beyond we are in the sight of the Lord. I am so glad you walk with the King!
Love you,
Keith
