“But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men. He did not need man’s testimony about man, for he knew what was in a man.” (John 2:24-25, NIV)
Oh! How great is the love of our Lord for us. For all the wickedness and evil which we as fellow human beings see in the world around us, the Lord is able to see the same and more. He is able to see into the hearts of men from where the wickedness is first conceived. Yet, his love for us compelled him to abandon heaven for a moment and make his appearance among us. To enter into our world so full of trials, troubles and tribulations in order that he might with wisdom and love make know to us something better that which without him we could never know. While we had shown ourselves unworthy of his trust, he had come in order that we might learn to trust in him and discover our King and Savior, and his name is Jesus.
