“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.” (1 Peter 1:18-21, NIV).
We recently saw how that Jesus is the Creator of all that is, and how it is by his power that he holds everything together, and now we learn that he was chosen before the creation of the world to die on the cross for our sins. What an incredible thought. That Jesus as Creator God would be willing to create us knowing full well in advance that he would have to die for us because of our sins. Oh how much Jesus loves us. There is no greater love that man can know than the love of Jesus our Creator, Sustainer and Savior. If we will accept him as our Lord we will live forevermore with him when he comes again.

OH MY!!…..I haven’t really thought of his death in that way….that he KNEW BEFORE he created us that he would have to die to save us!!……how awesome is that?????? I love you Lord…and thanks for loving me THAT MUCH!!!
