“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25).
If your desire is to see some good thing accomplished in this world include others in the endeavor that they might experience the joy of service with you. Doing everything alone everyday may not be the healthiest manner in getting things done in life. It might be that the Lord has made our work for us – not so that we may simply accomplish the task – but that we might develop deeper levels of friendship as we lovingly labor together. So next time you see something that needs being done; a visit to the elderly, ministering to the youth, even washing the dishes – call a friend or two and experience the load of life lifted, a renewed smile upon your face and the swelling of gladness in your heart. And while you are at it – have a cup of coffee on me. Oh! And by the way, that just may have been Jesus you saw in the eyes of your friend.
It’s a great day,
Keith

So true Keith….reminds me of a poem I wrote some time ago entitled, “I Saw Him Here Today”……it mentions seeing “Him” in the eyes of a friend…..or the face of a child as he bows his head to pray…etc, etc.
Thanks for reminding me that “together” is the best way to go! God Bless you in your journeys this day!

Brenda,
Thank you. And I am looking forward to a great day. Off to make a visit to the hospital and I am taking a friend with me! And I do think my friend and I will have that cup of coffee. Enjoy the Sonshine!
In him,
Keith
